I am visiting SoCal for my son's wedding and found that I had a flat tire along way from the rehearsal dinner, wedding, etc. Melissa ordered a new tire and quickly found a used tire and had it mounted, so we could make it to the rehearsal dinner that night. Melissa went out of her way to help us get this sorted out and only charged us for the new tire. Great customer service is so rare these days that I had to write a review, but it's obvious from how busy they are that the word is out. A no BS company and highly recommended.

Needed an oil change on my 2015 BMW, no one wanted to do it because they didn't have the right tools/ experience but these guys were sure they could get it done. I didn't want my car to be damaged so I was a bit weary at first but I saw they were servicing other similar cars. I highly recommend.

Best auto repair place ever.. first of all, in full disclosure i must say you may pay a bit more than you would to your cousins friend of a friend that will let you pay him in beer. But if you need work done and want to be able to trust the work go to these guys. Melissa will take good care of you. They know their stuff & will tell you what issues are pressing & what you can wait on. Love them!

I walked in off the street to find a friendly person behind the counter who seemed genuinely interested in helping me solve my automotive issue. I told Melissa about my problem which was a leak that I had. I hate leaks. She gave my key to one of the mechanics, Fausto. He thoroughly cleaned off the bottom of my car and instructed me to come back in a week to see if he could better locate the leak. This, I must tell you, was all at no charge. I was definitely impressed with their professionalism and their honest assessment of my problem. Thank you Melissa, Fausto and everyone else at Western Edge who helped me out while I was there.

Our fuel pump took a dump on us after a 7 hour drive to Palmdale from Northern Cal. Not wanting to get ripped off by the dealer, I took a chance with Western Edge strictly based on reviews. I am happy to say the reviews were spot on. We ended up getting tires for our son's truck and replace the fuel pump. I highly recommend this establishment!

Melissa knows her stuff... I have finally found an HONEST & REPUTABLE auto repair shop that has very experienced mechanics... I'll be bringing all of my vehicles to them... I won't go anywhere else from now on!! An honest shop is worth it's weight in gold... and they are GOLD!! Pep Boys in Palmdale couldn't diagnose my overheating problem and their supposed "technician" "recomended" that I "START" with replacing the thermostat at $239... which would NOT have fixed the overheating problem... next would have been radiator hoses at $318... and when THAT WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED, they were suggesting a rebuilt or used engine at over $5k with virtually no warranty... all because they could not "difinitively" diagnose a BLOWN HEAD GASKET... I dodged an expensive bullet by not having that stuff done at Pep Boys and going to Western Edge to get a second opinion... Western Edge saved me thousands by diagnosing the blown head gasket on my 18 yr old 191k van... not worth repairing... DON'T GO TO PEP BOYS PEOPLE... GIVE WESTERN EDGE A SHOT AT EARNING YOUR BUSINESS... You won't regret it... I wish I had gone to them YEARS AGO... Michelle

Rather, they perform excellent service on any servicing my vehicles need and do it in a timely manner. My wife and I have been using them for years. Look no further for a good mechanic, call these guys now and never take your car anywhere BUT Western Edge. They will take care of you. I am from the Yosemite area and was on my way to Joshua Tree when my car broke down outside of Lancaster. Our tow truck driver recommended western edge and thank god he did. What followed was the best experience I've had with a mechanic to date. My car completely died and needed a new engine, and this is 7 days after I had the engine worked on by a dealer, for 3200.00 dollars, but thats a whole other story. (Basically the situation could not have been worse, I spent the next few weeks battling with the dealership etc.) Being that I was stranded 7 hours from home, with no car, this would have been a perfect opportunity for them to rip me off. Instead, Chris at western edge went out of his way to give a thorough diagnosis, and not only that, they spent maybe 2 or 3 days tearing the thing apart to find the oil leak, so I had a case against the dealer. For no extra charge. For what must have been many labor hours for major engine work, I was only charged the basic diagnostic price of 99.00. As I said before, it would have been a perfect time for a shady mechanic to rip you off, but in my eyes I got a discount, and that's not all. I decided that I would have to leave the car and return to Yosemite to work. Even though western edge has a sign that says you will be charged to leave your car on their lot, they let me leave my car there for over three weeks, with no charge until I was able to get my money back from the dealer, and figure out what to do with a now useless car. They even let me mail my pink slip to them when I donated the car, so I didn't have to drive down there, just to hand it to the tow truck driver. Most places won't do that I learned. So long story short, dealing with Western Edge was the ONLY good thing that happened in what was a extremely stressful mess. I can not recommend them enough. They treated a stranded stranger off the street like family, and helped me every step of the way. Western edge truly went above and beyond the call of duty, and they will most likely be the best mechanic I'll ever go to. I wish I could take my new truck to them. Don't ever take your car anywhere else!

I was skeptical after being ripped off by so many half at it mechanics, but I was proved wrong when they actually FIXED my car. I now have air conditioning for more than two minutes and the engine light is finally off. I wish I had known about them a while ago, would have saved so much time and money. I will definitely go back to them in the future.

My son Richard is the one who always takes my car in to be worked on, I have only talked to them on the phone to approve the work to be done. They have always been very polite and professional. We have never been dissatisfied by the service we have gotten here at Western Edge Auto. We have been Western Edge Auto customers for some time now, and have been very happy with our experience. The friendly staff make us feel like we are valued customers, and are more than happy to go the extra mile to answer all of the questions we have about our vehicles (being a mechanical engineer by trade, that is very important to me). In terms of the quality of work done on our cars, their mechanics truly care about the job they do, and stand by their work. And rightfully so! I have had gaskets replaced, tires plugged, engine / reservoirs flushed, struts replaced (the list goes on) and have never had to take it back for the same problem. Another attribute of western edge is honesty. They care more about return customers than making a quick buck. I have, on several occasions, had their mechanic recommend to me to decline costly repairs (I had an '97 Explorer which was riddled with nuisance problems). For those of you who are looking for a good, honest, hardworking small business as your auto repair shop, this is the place.

I've been using this shop since way back when it was Sheppard's Muffler, about 13 years now. I've been nothing but happy with the service. The owner and mechanics are always willing to discuss an issue in depth, and they never try to sell you something you don't need. If a repair job doesn't turn out quite right, they make it right. Prices are about midrange, not the cheapest but fair for the market... tho I've found they cost less in the long run because things get done right. My truck is now 34 years old and it's still in great running condition, in part thanks to being serviced at Western Edge.

After going to multiple auto shops by far Western Edge auto center is the best in the Antelope Valley. There small family owned buisness is extremely professional which is key to any establishment that i go too, there customer service was 10 out of 10. from walking in and getting greeted by not only management but team members which gives a sense of trust and honesty to customers. overall this establishment is by far the best auto shop in town. highly recommended.

VERY TRUSTWORTHY!!! My truck was running pretty bad with what I thought to be a drivetrain issue but brought it in and they told me it was a mis-fire and I needed a new coil pack (common issue among F150s). I went ahead and fixed it myself and problem solved! Chris, the store owner is a very nice and genuine person and the prices listed for their work are very fair. 4 months ago replaced original clutch on 06 Saturn ion coupe with 206k+ miles at western edge. Return visit required due to problem with leaky salve cylinder.Issue parts order over seas due to discontinued made and model of car, but all work and parts covered under westerns warranty.. They went over the car with a fine tooth comb to make sure there were no more issue with the car and kept me updated during the repair process. I went to Western Edge with an issue of " black smoke from the exhaust of a heavy duty diesel engine". I was expecting to have major repairs done for that matter. This was my second experience with Western Edge (last year they rebuilt my engine) and again, they were efficient and friendly. Melissa would call me with updates and my car was ready when she said it would be. This time it was my alternator and at first they thought my water pump was leaking, but Melissa called me back and said it wasn't the pump, but a thermostat leak and my total cost would actually be a little cheaper!!

They took a car that had been sitting in a garage for YEARS, leaking oil and not starting, we thought ready for the junk yard, to very close to it's former glory. So far I've taken my cars to Western Edge twice for AC service.

What a great place! Professional, competent, friendly and honest. I broke down Memorial weekend in Lancaster (on my way to the Sierras) and was lucky enough to find Western Edge open on a Saturday. The repair diagnosis was done right away but it would take time to fix. So they helped me rent an inexpensive car and I continued my vacation. While I was waiting in the shop, I could not help but notice the great attitude of everyone I encountered. Now my car is running great (I authorized some additional work and glad I did). While I could have been gouged due to my situation, I found the cost of repairs very reasonable. I live in Orange County, but have decided to leave my car with Western Edge again in the future for regular service when I can. That’s how good they are.

My car was making a weird noise when I started it up. I work in LA so the only shop near me was Pepboys. I dropped my car off and it took them nearly 3 hours to tell me they were 95% sure I needed a flywheel (what is that?) and a new starter . I was told to take it to the dealer because they wouldn't be able to do the work there. That would have run me about $1100 to $1700. So I took to the internet and found Western Edge who got good ratings on yelp. I spoke with Melissa and she was very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable taking my car in. It didn't take long for them to tell me all I needed was a starter. I was even shown the old starter that was removed and why it no longer worked. Western Edge is very knowledgeable and affordable. I will definitely return.

I called around to many auto care facilities and they all seemed very short and to the point. But once I called Western Edge, I was greeted professionally by Chris and given a brake down of how they work. I was due for a 90K service, upon arrival I was greeted by Melissa who explained that they will do a 30 point inspection to see if my car is due for all service that 90k entitles. It was good to hear that my vehicle only needed a few things, and although the price was a bit higher than i expected. When I called around nobody else was offering as good of a deal for what I was to receive.

Always a pleasure. The oil change took a bit longer than I had hoped BUT Melissa did take us in 30 minutes before our appointment so I that balances out. I like how I was encouraged to use the type of oil that would not void my car's warranty, that is something that no one else does.

I just recently moved to Palmdale and was in search of a good honest mechanic. I found them when I stepped into the Western edge. Kris and Melissa were very thorough on what I needed on my car. I needed my 2 front axles replaced as well as my rack and pinion. Yikes!!! I though it was going to cost me the price of a down payment for a new car but it actually was very reasonable. I've always had good experiences with Western Edge.

Yesterday I was partly through a trip from L.A. to Nevada and the wind was so bad I could barely keep my lifted jeep in my own lane due to steering issues. I called ahead from the freeway based on other good reviews I saw online. Danny met me at the counter and I explained the issues. Turned out my steering gear box was toast as well as my sway bar. Long story short, Kris and Danny committed to getting me back on the road same day, and did a pretty big job with no notice and at a decent price. They even fabricated some shims for my sway bar on the spot. They truly saved me because without their help I would have had to stay the night and cancel the trip. I took my car in thinking I needed a tune-up. Western did a bumper to bumper inspection and found nothing wrong, didn't need tune-up. Suggested some preventitive work but said nothing was really pressing. Everyone there was very nice and very polite.

Today I brought in a used truck to have evaluated before I bought it. They gave it a thorough going over and a test drive. They found nothing that needed fixing. It's great to have an honest mechanic!

Thanks to the team at Western Edge, a "creaking" problem that has been dogging my F-150 for 10 years was fixed at a minimal cost. At the same time, they provided excellent front-end alignment service and fixed another persistent heater noise. Excellent service and a great job! The truck performed flawlessly on it's first "long haul" in years.

Checked with Chevrolet dealer in Lancaster and GMC dealer in Palmdale. They both wanted $105.00 to reset the codes on my 2002 Silverado. Western Edge did it for free. Guess where I took my truck to be fixed? Very happy with their service.

The work was good but the time frame was very long. I was told it should be about an hour ordeal. I planned for 1 1/2 and was there for 2:40 minutes. Even Criss the owner didn't know why it took so long. That was a bit frustrating because it changes a lot of my plans for the morning.

My pick up stalled and I had Western Edge access the problem and fix it. I had the pick up towed to the shop but the pick up started and the mechanic could not find anything wrong with it. Some shops could have made up a problem, but not Western Edge. Their honesty, integrity and great service brings me back every time. I highly recommend Western Edge to anyone who want quick, honest service.

I needed to get my A/C serviced promptly. The good folks at Western Edge obliged my request, getting the service performed (had to replace the compressor with a factory OE part)quickly and at a fair price.

Brought my truck in for what I thought to be a drivetrain issue but the guys at western edge diagnosed it as an engine misfire and that I needed a new coil pack (commone issue for F150s). I told them I would replace the coil pack since I can do that kind of work and they were perfectly fine with that. So I replaced the coil pack and spark plug and problem solved! Chris, the owner, is a very nice and genuine person and the prices they offer for their services are very fair. I'll be going back next time I run into an issue.

Mostly a positive experience, with one troubling issue. After initial inspection of my vehicle, I was given a list of "recommended" services, one of which had just been complete elsewhere, so I knew it was NOT necessary at all. Unfortunately, this just added to the auto mechanic stereotype of selling unnecessary service/repair. I choose to give them the benefit of the doubt this one time, and will likely go back because otherwise the work was completed satisfactorily, communication was also satisfactory. However, a second instance like this will send me elsewhere for service.

With the air lift air pump and air bag system install in my 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon, it is always a challenge to correct any leaks in the system. As usual, your diagnosis and repair work was very thorough and completely successful. For the first time ever, I have now gone 2 months without having to add any air to the previously set pressure. No leaks! Good Job!

The customer service and advice I received regarding maintenance to my 5 cars are outstanding. The guys running Western Edge are real car guys.

I went with my three (3) boys to have my Toyota serviced, and though we had to wait about 2 hours, the team was friendly and seemed honest about what my vehicle much needed to be serviced on; the reason why it took a little longer to wait. They even went as far to offer my boys and me a ride home until the vehicle was ready ? that was kind of them. In the end, I left satisfied and with a feeling that I wasn?t taken advantage of. I do intend to return whenever any of my vehicles require service.

Amazing when I went to pick up my vehicle the price didn't change and it was fixed right

I went in to have the power steering pump replaced. Jason checked the system out, discovered the pump was good and fixed a minor problem that was causing the noise. Saved me from replacing the pump. Jason, Chris and the guys at Western Edge have worked on my Bonneville car/daily driver, and now they're the only ones who will work on my street cars. They're true "car guys", and they're the BEST!

Other than the 60 k maintance, we had an issue with driver power window, they were persistance with finding the root cause. Works in excellent condition. thanks to Western Edge for completing work in a timely manner on our Nissan Titan.
